Artist History The genesis of the band can be dated back to 1992 in Parkland Jr. High when "disruptive students" Matt Parker and Darryl Rosenberger landed themselves in detention together and became fast friends. They agreed that being in a band sounded better than any of the dreary stuff being offered up on career day, so Parker went out and bought a guitar and dared Darryl to follow suit. He did. The two spent the next few years honing their playing and writing skills while working their way through the local musicians in search of a decent rhythm section. As the years passed their skills grew in proportion to their commitment and by mid 1994 Aztek Trip was born.
