Artist History Formed in the early winter months of 1998, after months of practice, Anna May was rewarded with the coveted first place trophy at the battle of the Bands in a local competition with nearly 20 of the most popular bands in the area. Immediately after their award winning performance, Anna May was booked at one of the areas hot spots followed by many other local clubs and bars. Shortly after this, Anna May felt the confidence to record an album at CrowSong Recordings in Savona, New York, just a few months after Anna May was formed. Their debut "Broken" is the result.
