Artist History
My interest in the guitar began as a relaxing hobby and a lot of garage bands, but developed into a passion in college when I began fingerstyling the folk guitar. It was then that I found the corner of the musical universe where I knew I was at home! I believe all good gifts come from the Father God (The Great I Am, Jehovah, Elohim or YHWH) through His Son Jesus and it's up to us to find those gifts within us and use them! (actually, it's more important to first find Jesus - then ALL the other stuff takes care of itself!) Peace from the Prince of Peace! -- Tom |

Press Reviews
The following is a review of my solo celtic CD by Craig von Buseck. “Bright Morning” — The Spirit of Ireland. If your ancestors are from Ireland, they say you carry the spirit of the “Emerald Isle” with you wherever you go. My Great Grandpa Gleeson brought his family to America 100 years ago, just before my Grandmother was born. I’m told he settled on the rolling green hills of my hometown because it reminded him of home. When you’re Irish, the spirit of Ireland stays with you. My Irish spirit was recently stirred as I listened to “Bright Morning,” a CD of Celtic guitar by Tom Nolan Tierney. This simple, restful collection of finger-style guitar includes a mixture of Celtic classics along with traditional hymns. Tierney includes a charming original selection, “Narrow Road,” as well. This pleasing album was recorded, engineered and produced by Tierney in his own studio in Chesapeake, Virginia. I heartily recommend “Bright Morning” by Tom Nolan Tierney. The spirit of Ireland is alive and well on this delightful CD. I suspect music like this would have reminded Great Grandpa Gleeson of home! -- Craig von Buseck is a freelance writer and teacher in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
