Artist History The Secret 8 is a sappy rock and roll band from Guelph, Ontario, Canada. The band formed in the summer of 1998, out of the remains of Tout le Temp, of which Julie was a member and Andrew was trying to drum for. Andrew soon figured out that he couldn't drum to save his life, at which point Matias Silva (of Toaster Whatever) stepped in to keep the beat. Describing the sounds of The Secret 8 would be way too easy. A bunch of catchy little pop songs, most of them pretty short just like our attention span.
