Artist History The project started all the way back in 97, andwas shortly thereafter signed to the net-label called: Loonies Records. In the beginning the project made music in a special music (tracker!)program called "octamed4", on his belovedamiga 1200 computer. Then in 98, Tamslyngbought an old mix'er, a very very old rolandJX-8p synth, and got hold of a midi devicefor his amiga 1200. He wantet to make midi music,but he quickly discovered that it wouldent workbecause he diddent have enywhere to record themusic (diddent have eny PC at that time).Shortly thereafter a friend of his introduced himto the world famous 303 emulator called Rebirth 338.Despite the fact that tarmslyng diddent have enyPC, he never the less managed to produced 5 records made in this program.Finally in 99 Tarmslyng was forced to buy a PC,and begang to produce midi music, and releasingthe tracks in the format: mp3.At this moment the project was allso renamed from:"the naked ears psychedelic elephant project"to: "the naked ears project".
