Artist History
In August 1998 Aaron Propst (guitar) and Parker Smith (drums) were bored and decided to form a band, the guys got Chris Adams, a neighbor who played bass to play with them. After their first day they had a song and then later they came up with a name, Good Intentions. A year later they were playing shows around the VA/DC area and they recruited many diferent guitarists until they found Andy Armentrout from another local pop punk band called One Brick Short. Andy was added to the band in late '99, but in fall '99 Chris left the band to form another band. After Christmas of '99 everyone decided they wanted to play together again and so we decided to come back together but as a new band with a new sound. We named ourselves Middlebrook after the street we practiced on, Middlebrook has a more mature and developed sound to them then their prior bands. In early 2001 we picked up Nik, dropped our old songs started over and rocked the burg! |

Press Reviews
"As i see it, Middlebrook can be defined as the following:wailing guitar chords and a guy behind the drum kit going mental( with the parameters being speed and loudness, emphasis on the latter)"-Kevin Murphy #1 fan, and Ben's Old Fashioned Rock n Roll wrote, "Some crazy high schoolers from a nowhere town reaching out to YOU." |
