Artist History Born in Los Angeles, grew up in Las Vegas. Michael has performed with artists such as Jack DeJohnette, Dave Holland, Bobby McFerrin, Steps Ahead, and Me'Shell Ndege'Ocello. He is currently on faculty at the New England Conservatory in Boston, MA. To date he has played on over 70 records.
