Artist History
The Übershred started making electronic music with Amiga MOD software in the early nineties. In 1995, the Übershred found the joys of hip hop and electronic music, and has worked toward aquiring the necessary tools since then. In 1999, the Übershred created a comiplation of home brewed techno and hip hop under the name "Sledge and Friends," which featured scratching from local artists Zak and T-Bone, as well as his bandmates from Hard Karma. In summer 2001, the Übershred will release his first official effort "Roots of Sledge II: Mindfuk Ya!" It features all original songs preformed by the Übershred, and a remix of the Hard Karma classic "Storm." |
