Artist History
David is currently the host of Global TV’s hit sports trivia game show "Game On" (www.gameontv.com) which comes on immediately after NFL football every Sunday. David is also the host of Global TV's "Get a Grip on Golf", a golf show that can be seen coast to coast in Canada, on Sunday afternoons at 3:00 p.m. Since his appearances on "SCTV" and "BIZARRE", David has been on "The John Oakley Show", "Cooking with Comics", "Yuk Yuk’s the TV Show", "Comedy College", 3 episodes of "Comedy at Club 54", "Open Mike with Mike Bullard", and has just completed his own half-hour special of "Comics!", on CBC. His recent concert appearances include opening for such stars as Jerry Seinfeld, Kris Kristofferson, Neil Sedaka,The Beach Boys, Howie Mandel, Steve Landesburg, The Nylons, Roch Voisine, Rich Hall, Billy Newton Davis, Luba, The Box,The Jitters and a week long tour with Steven Wright and Weird Al Yankovic, . David has performed with the "Coconuts", "Comedy Zone" and "Yuk Yuk’s" comedy club chains as a national headliner in both Canada and the United States. He has also performed at such notable showcase clubs as The Improv, Catch A Rising Star, The Laff Factory, The Comedy Store and The Icehouse. He has written jokes for Rodney Dangerfield and Joan Rivers and has been a contributing writer for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Besides the several TV commercials he’s done, most notably the 1050 CHUM D.J. commercial, David also appeared in a movie called Recruits. He also just completed "Dinner at Freds", starring Christopher Lloyd for Paragon Pictures as comedy and magic consultant. |
