Artist History
Blue Mile’s origin stems back to 1997, when guitarist, vocalist & composer Jim Savitt and bassist/composer Rob Rolling began writing and performing instrumental acoustic music. Laura Schaefer soon joined Blue Mile as featured lead vocalist and co-songwriter. Sterling Nowka completes the group’s sound by adding vocal harmonies and drums. Over the years, Blue Mile has developed a unique style that has evolved from acoustic roots to a fresh electric sound. Listeners are drawn into Laura’s clear vocal aura, which is perfectly complimented by Jim’s spiraling guitar lines. |
