Artist description andDave is me... Dave Hegland. I perform in Suburban Chicago clubs as a solo act, in the acoustic duo, "Just a Couple More", and as the bass guitarist for "Distraction" among other cover and original projects.

Artist History I started playing bass guitar in Cleveland, OH in 1982 for the usual reason; my high school buddies and I wanted to form a band, and bass was the missing instrument. That first band was "Maximum Thrust". In 1988, while living in Kentucky, I played bass guitar with "Just Some Local Boys", an acoustic folk/rock trio. After moving to Illinois in 1991, I began playing acoustic guitar, performing at open mics, and slowly writing songs. Now, in 2000, I have an extensive cover repertoire and a few originals that I am proud to share with the world.
