Artist description
William Kitchens either wrote or co-wrote all of the songs contained in "The Nashville Collection Volumes 1 & 2." Besides William Kitchens, the CD album features some of Nashville's hottest up and coming vocal and songwriting talents. From moving pop and country ballads, to outrageous comedy cuts, this collection is certainly eclectic. It also includes a completely new and original “Rap” version of Bad, Dog, No Biscuit, the hit country single written by William Kitchens and Scott Ferrell for Daron Norwood. |

Artist History
William Kitchens has been writing and performing successfully for over 25 years throughout Atlanta, Georgia and the southeast. After his success with the “Bad Dog” single, he moved to Nashville late in 1995 to pursue writing full time. The songs written just prior to the move, and during his three year "tour of duty" on music row, reflect that period, hence “The Nashville Collection.” While there, he not only continued to expand his catalog of published material, but also became one of the featured performing artists at the World Famous Tootsies Orchard Lounge. William returned to Atlanta in the summer of 1998 where he still performs with his longtime co-writer, friend and partner, Scott Ferrell. The popular duo, Kitchens & Ferrell attract a loyal following and plan to record a new CD album later this year, featuring rock & pop material. William also continues to write and publish his music in Nashville, most recently with Tim McGraw's company. Look for bigger things to happen soon! |

Press Reviews
Country is a musical form that is overlooked by younger generations because of its lack of driving basslines and screaming lyrics. However, they miss out on some wonderful themes, socially-conscious songs, and great acoustic music, all of which are here. Life goes on is an awe-inspiring song. (Thomas Cottrill/Music UNO) (Life Goes On) This is a great song, written by a great songwriter, and performed by a great singer. Another song that should be on country radio - Jim Malec (The Country Connection) |
