Artist description
Dick is all grown up now. He has a job, security and a lovely girlfriend. He just can't stand one more God damned day. TASM Lab's third release, "Penisgeek Chrestomathy: The Essential Cubicle Nosepicker", is a 60 minute conceptual music program tracking the story of Dick. Dick is a young professional in his early thirties who realizes he can not stomach another day of his adult life with his good job and great girlfriend. Penisgeek questions the value of modern employment, personal gain, and the discovery that one must love oneself before loving his environment. Dick, not strong enough to find this, abandon's his adult life and runs to the sea. |

Artist History
The TASM Lab was founded in November of 1993 in Allston, MA and moved to Cambridge in 1995. It is a personal production vehicle for innovative story telling.TASM Lab has produced two full-length music programs: "Thing & Nothing" and "Penisgeek Chrestomathy: The Essential Cubicle Nosepicker". In addition, TASM Lab has re-released Screwtape's "Anthemunanthem" under its own moniker.Michelle Graf (In Essential Cubicle Nosepicker: Ruby. In Thing and Nothing: Christmas) Michelle is the vocalist for Blue Dahlia. She lives in Kalamazoo and is in the import trade. Additionally, she's kind of foxy and real agreeable. She didn't drink much beer during either TASM recording, but I hear she can really wolf it down. Michelle's recordings include: TASM Lab (Essential cubicle nosepicker, 1999), Blue Dahlia (self titled, 1996), Cicatrix: The Ritual Scarring Volume 1 (a complilation, date unknown), TASM Lab (Thing and Nothing, 1995) and The New York Room, (self titled, 1995)David Grant (In Essential Cubicle Nosepicker: Dick) Dave Grant is a long-time cool guy in the hopping Kalamazoo scene. His new band, Chopper, reportedly is almost ready to rock our worlds. He used to be in The Confirmation, then went on to sing for a long time in Rollinghead and then just recently closed up work in Dead River Drag. Dave used to be a janitor at the art museum but now works in the suntanning products industry. Dave lives in Kalamazoo with his sparkling wife, Coleen. Dave's recordings include: TASM Lab (essential cubicle nosepicker, 1999), Dead River Drag (Scarlet, 1998), Rollinghead (Vol 3. Live, 1996), Rollinghead (Long Black Feeling, 1994), and Rollinghead (Daddyhorse, 1993) |
