Artist description
Strange Evolution is a collaboration of a rock guitarist and an electronic/dance pop singer who create powerful and hard-driving catchy rock and roll songs. Steve Static and Mark Dark combined to form Strange Evolution, a mix of seemingly incompatible styles, to see what would happen. The results are a match of party-anthem hit song material. And on occasion, Steve Static and Mark Dark will remix and record different versions of the songs to add another dimension to the band's sound. Static often takes the songs into electronic territory and Dark uses brilliant guitar work to full effect. Listen for yourself! |

Artist History
Formed in 1999 when Steve joined the company Mark was at and sat behind him. During lunch breaks they kept talking about music, and found that they both had many years of experience in different bands. While the styles were different, their passion for music was equally intense. While both members have their own solo projects (Steve Static Project and Skin Lizzard), this is a collaborative effort. |
