Artist History Iris started composing piano music about 5 years ago. She has now produced 2 professional CD's of her own compositions under the label LAHAINA UK. She gave up her profession as a mathematician to devote more time to her music.She started playing the piano at the age of 5 and has taken all the playing exams in both piano and clarinet. She is now playing the saxophone.She is an unusual composer as she has had no formal lessons in composition but simply places her hands on the piano and the music writes itself. She has now teamed up with Chick Holland of Lahaina UK and together they have produced Nature's Symphony (23 tracks) and Autumn Shadows (14 extended tracks-Vangelis style). She still coaches Advanced Level Mathematics and in her spare time plays tennis and badminton and loves doing cryptic crosswords. The CDs can be purchased from: http://www.chick-holland.co.uk.
