    Artist description
Rave into the perpetual perfection of soul and sound... Anodyne777 is a project designed to represent mechanical evolution, synchonicity, and the energy and community behind a good rave! I have worked for many years at composing electronica, and I have decided to make my work available to everyone. Your support and patronage of hard-tek artists like myself is appreciated. I am also working on tracks that will be suitable for live performace,so I'll be hitting the St. Louis scene full forcewhen I complete my 3rd and best album. This newalbum is built around my traditional sequencingmethods and my new MS2000 synth, and includes vocals. I would've been terrified to do this acouple of years ago, but now it's time. I hope you enjoy my work, and spread the word! Thanks for stopping by-Owen Godwin (Anodyne 777)

    Artist History
Owen Godwin began writing music in 1995 with the help and inspiration of Pavel Hodek (Czech Republic), cofounder of the late international internet-based music group Radio-Abandoned Frequency. Owen was a member of the group, writing under the name 'Maximus'. The songs were written through computer programs based on advanced derivitives of an old electronic format, .MOD (and NO, the computer doesn't write the music!). After the group fell apart in early 1998, some members quit composing because of other responsibilities, and some have moved on independently (COMet, founderof the group "0 and Below", was once a member, hismusic is available on mp3.com as well). Owen continues alone with occaisional welcomed collaborations.

    Press Reviews
Expect the sound of Anodyne 777 to hit the St. Louis, MO, USA scene shortly. DJ Spazmasta, a rising star in the vinyl arena, is spinning some of the music you can download right here. The press has never officially reviewed this music, but it has been received exceptionally well by both strangers and friends. Kane, a DJ for the former St. Louis radio station 104.1 ExtremeRadio, thought the music was exceptional. It hasappealed to both educated and uneducated tastes! A couple of realistic points of achievementinclude: The song "The Angel's Candle" was ranked19th out of some 210+ entries in the Symbiosis '97compo. The late Hornet Archive rated the song "Without a Reason" 3.5 stars out of 4. If you'de like to review an Anodyne777 song, please do. Comments are VERY welcome.
