Musical Influences
I would have to say I've been mostly influeced my the great film scores that artists such as John Williams, James Horner, Danny Elfman, Jerry Goldsmith, and many others have written. I guess I've also been influenced by many MIDI composers on the net. As a reviewer and contestant of the TOS and Pixel Arts Monthly MIDI Contest, I study other peoples music as I give reviews and scores. With repeated listenings I really learn the technique and ideas used in many of their songs, and then apply what I have learned accordingly. I find myself influenced by other forms of art also (paintings, books, movies, poetry, ect. - even nature I suppose). I really try to mix in all forms of art with my music; it opens opportunities for a varitey of ideas and perspectives. |

Press Reviews
Seth's music has a warmth and nostalgia for the 1980s, when melodies were melodies; his MIDI sequences are packed with detail, lovingly constructed, and he deserves to go far. Don't miss out on this talent! --Rob Chilcott |
