Artist History DJ Marco P: There is not a lot to say about our past. We are four DJ’s from Vienna and met each other several times while DJing. Our best known member is Ed Earl (Michi Graf). He was Chef DJ in the Viennese disco P1 (www.disco-p1.at) for over 10 years. Over the last years he made several songs together with two friends from the group OPUS ("Life is Life"), but these were not very successful. Ed Earl was also my teacher as DJ. I, DJ Marco P (Markus Pfeifenberger), was active in the DJ business for 5 years but have always wanted to produce music. DJ Mario Kinelly (Mario Kinelly) is the third member. He has also been a well known DJ for many years. At the moment he only performs now and then in different clubs (Titanik, ...). DJ Radicale is our anonymous member. He is also to be heard on Clubbing and is responsible for the ideas and graphics. Since I work in the computer branch we decided to start the project P.M.C., and as the only "instrument" use a Personal Computer (no external devices). We use the ingenious music program (which I translated into German, because I like it so much) Fruityloops (www.fruityloops.com) and a few small Direct-X effects (most of them Freeware). After the first attempts and test songs (Spacey Groovey, Running) late in February 2000 we made our first professional Remix: Move Your Body – P.M.C. (Maximum Move Mix) of the current song by EIFFEL 65. We shot up in the dance charts on mp3.com and reached place 2 of the club charts. If our success on mp3.com continues, we will make more remixes and then professional productions. Of course we do not expect Madonna to let her songs be remixed by us (voluntarily), but some good remixes will come for sure.
