Artist description Matina Parisi, an Aries born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, has appeared in various off-Broadway and Broadway productions as a singer/dancer/actress, and is a professional ballet dancer with many credits. Matina has had much experience as a recording artist as well. She was signed with Atlantic Records at age 16, and has made many recordings since then. Aside from her career in music,theater and dance, Matina has graduated from New York University with a degree in psychology and journalism. However, she does not intend to pursue a career in either field. Instead, she has decided to feed her soul by focusing all of her attention on her talents as a singer/songwriter.

Artist History Matina grew up singing and dancing especially since her father was an opera singer and her mother a professional ballet dancer. Matina attended Laguardia High School of the Performing Arts as a vocal major, and also graduated from the prestigious School of American Ballet. She has chosen a career as a singer/songwriter and has been pursuing this aspiration for a little over a year now.
