Artist description Chester are a five piece who hail from Wolverhampton, West Midlands. The band was formed three years ago and has existed with the current line up for just under a year. Chester was formed in late 1999 when singer songwriter Alex Ford decided to turn his then solo work in to a group project.

Artist History We are currently working our way through the West midlands live circuit and have played gigs at the varsity and little civic in Wolverhampton as well as Wolverhampton university. With an established fan base in Wolverhampton we are now concentrating to making more live outings to our neighboughing cities. Over the last few months we have played gigs in the Birmingham and Telford Area with more bookings for the months ahead. Whilst always being committed to playing live, we have also put aside a lot of time and effort to making good quality demo recordings. With the lack of affordable available recording studios, all demos have been recorded using home computer technology meaning that we have been able to spend lots more time producing them with no obvious depreciation of quality. We now have six fully mixed “radio –ready” demos as well as over 50 rough demos. For further information all demo’s can be downloaded or streamed from our website. The track ‘Living on the Pier’ of our demo CD has been used by Clothing manufacturer Jack Wills in a promotional video for their merchandise. The video will be distributed to customers nationwide and can be viewed from their website at http://www.jackwills.com Having established ourselves in the Wolverhampton area we are looking forward to playing to crowds in other local areas. After positive feedback from venue managers we are also expecting to support some newly signed bands in the next few months at the varsity in Wolverhampton.
