Artist description
Brooks Newton has recorded two albums to date. The first, "Beatnik Picnic" was recorded in 1996. See the song "Brand New Rodeo" for the performers on this album. "Output" is Brooks' second collection of songs. Newton, Gooding, and Aaron Morgan Brown collaborate on this album to produce a powerful set of thoughtful pop. Emphasis is placed on rhythm and melody, with lyrics that stand in the forefront. |

Artist History
Brooks Newton has played and recorded with a number of very talented musicians. Both of his album efforts have been produced on a tight budget with minimum of practice time with the band. Newton sends each musician a "low-fi" tape of the songs, then schedules studio time. The result was recorded and a small part of these sessions are presented to you for free right here and now. |
