Press Reviews
Check out some of the great reviews we're getting at Garageband.com (http://www.garageband.com/artist/willy_krueger_band)"Bopping around the Back Room, Alterna-Pop SuperGirl Cool! - Ahhh! Good alterna-pop, bopping around in the back room. Reminds me of Ben Lee, Custard, some Australian alternative guys. My main criteria for a band is would I pay money for the record and would I see them live? Yes, and Yes! Boppy peppy little melody with sad lyrics, nice contrast, the beat and dance stuff pulls you in, then second listen shows it to be a little deeper than the first perky perky sounds. But it's still got a good beat and Hella fun to dance to." amandapage - Millville, New Jersey "Neat pop - Nice tight drumming, bass and rhythm. Nice number would think it fits better in the pop category. Like the slow down and build up which works quite well. Band seems to enjoy themselves which is really important." DRFOX - Westville, Kwazulu Natal, South Africa "cute" - bobbipynn - Mississauga, Ontario, Canada "scoo..." - morbid_chick - Newark, New York "*yay!!!!* - this has spectactular lyrics! i really enjoyed it! good job!" sleclair - River Falls, Wisconsin "Retro Pop - Very retro-pop...a la Matthew Sweet...i like it... it would sound better if the recording quality were superior, but nonetheless a good song." kieranroy - Toronto, Ontario, Canada "a very tight band - Good track great tempo, love the drums a very tight band, but I felt that towards the end of the song I needed something else to keep my interest. may a tempo change. good luck" morph - Dublin, Republic, Ireland"So close to greatness! - This has a really cool indie-rock feel to it. I really liked this entire song...except the chorus seemed liked it could be developed a little more. The melody seems too simple to create a strong hook. Perhaps if you just added a background vocal to sing a cool melody in-between "super girl"s, it could create the lift that I felt was missing. Other than that, I think this is a really cool tune! I'd just like to see that slight development to make a very good song great. Good luck!" bractune - Fair Oaks, California "Good track! - I liked it! My favorite style of music. Remeinds me o little bit of Squeeze." Luweege - Si, Ny, New York "Good melody - Really good melody. The lyrics are a little bit "kiddy" but its a song that wanna makes me dance. Supergirl!" mazer - St-Redempteur, Quebec, Canada |
