Artist History
____1996_____Started tracking. Didn't make anything spectacular, didn't know anyone to get tips from either. Made som rap-songs together with my brother. ____1998, late summer.____ In the begining of the new semester, I made my way to a new school. There I met some new people and I became aware of "the scene". This inspired me to make some serious tries at normal music. Turned out, not so normal, but my tracking skills were getting to a reasonable level. ____1998, fall.____Me and some friends went to Borlänge to visit swedens largest demo-party, Dreamhack. This was my first real experience of what the scene could be like and it inspired me to continue tracking. ____1999, fall. ____Dreamhack again. Made a song to compete with in the multichannel contest, but didn't make it. Understandable. I also competed in Wild Music, with Skogen , an old rap-song with a humorous twist. This was more sucessful, and ended up sixth. This dreamhack I also met Dragonfly, a tracker from Göteborg. He showed me a great deal of things that I had never thought possible with a tracker and it was after all this that I made Primal Processing. ____2000, spring.____ Desperate for some real instruments I bought my Juno 60, that I sample frequently. About then I also started to seriously consider MIDI for the music production. Expensive, but superior. ____2000, Summer.____ Visited Germany, the land of Kraftwerk, for four weeks. Bought a Virtualize Pro that caused trubble in the customs. Hehe... ____2000, fall.____ Invested some serious money in my hobby. Bought a soundcard with sampler and onboard effects. Also bought a Yamaha electone a 505 electric organ. It rules. Dreamhack again. Ventured for the first time into the scene area to make elite friends. Found some and got a brief introduction to the musictracker BUZZ. This kicks ass, and allows use of both samples and midi gear. Closer to christmas I played a new song infront of a happy audience at UKM. A culture happening for young people in my town. ____2001____ Got the happy news that I was invited to perform at the regional equivalent to of UKM later in the spring. I decided to set up real show by bringing five of my friends on stage with me. |
