Their music is comprised of mostly original selections and a few hand picked selections by other artists that showcase the band's unique style. The band's performance is an eclectic blend of rock, blues, country and traditional styles that can only be described as Cow Jazz. From interesting ballads to soul-moving boogie tunes, the only thing the crowd can expect is fun. Immersed in the heritage and culture of the Texas Plains, THE PRAIRIE DOGS' present a musical landscape of all that has made this area so unique. Performing original songs influenced by everything from the determined rhythm of a combine at wheat harvest to the pounding rain of a Texas thunderstorm, THE PRAIRIE DOGS' music is the flavor of the real Texas.
