Artist description The Cheapskates are a six-piece band. Notorious for their wacky sense of humour and crazy cut off suits, the live show from the 'skates is surely not to be missed! Their brand of ska and punk is uncompromisingly happy, indeed, one newspaper called it "skewed and quirky". I think that's a compliment.

Artist History Formed by friends, initially for jamming, a spot at a local battle of the bands changed everything and they released a self-produced cassette. After a couple of line-up changes and the addition of a horn section, The Cheapskates have settled as a six-piece. After recording a demo CD ('The Wrong Arm Of The Law'), The Cheapskates went on to record the debut EP ('Nobdoy's Prefect') which was released on UK ska and punk label Good Clean Fun Records in November of 2001. The band are currently touring around the UK.
