Artist description
We strangely manage to mix old school punk rock with mid to new school hardcore, and grunge style stuff and still have it come out sounding good. We were a six piece band with two different singers on the first CD but Craig has left the band so we're now a five piece. We are based out of San Bernardino CA, and have been together in our current formation (pus or minus a singer) for over a year...we are currently writing new material and preparing to record again, so be prepared for some fresh new sounds on this site coming soon! |

Artist History
The Band was started in 1997 by Shaka Zulu (Allen Stell) and Fufu Little Berry (Omar Garcia) under the name L.G.M. Later Oh Gimpy Leg Matter (Joe Bell) came in on guitar and a year later Admiral Cheese Water (Kraig Killigan) joined on vocals. We never really practiced a lot until Count Shuklesburg III (Alexis Chavez) joined in as second guitarist. Eventually Joe and Omar left and Iron Fist Steven Mussolini (Biserc) joined as a bass player. Biserc played bass until April '99 until Alexis left the band and then he switched over to guitar. Biserc was an overall better guitar player having experience playing in such bands as Headstrong and the Grammy Nominated Spewtum. About a month later Pochek The Magical Pixie (Wesley Nelson) joined on bass. We practiced a lot during the summer of 1999 and in late August, CoCo The Love Monkey (Steve Judo) joined as the second singer. September 11th 1999, a date that will live in infamy, we played our first show, opening up for Trauma Fest 99 at the Showcase Theatre under our new name: Stand Out. Wes Nelson didn't show up for Trauma Fest and this trend continued with practices and shows alike until he was kicked out. He was replaced with K.C. The Sunshine Man (Biscuit Guttertrash) in early October. Our first show with the new lineup was October 9th 1999 at Bricks in our hometown of San Bernardino, CA. The next to join the band was Big Jesse Jesus on Rythym guitar and it was a great addition to the band. Eventually we got sick of Kraig Killigan pulling a Wes and not showing up to practices or shows and he was kicked out early 2000. We went with one vocalist for a while until we recruited the infamous "Rooster" CJ McClellan from the now defunct Headstrong to fill in on second vocals. We began recording a new album with him, but he insisted on eating 6 pounds of cheese before all shows, and by then he was to bloated and belligerant (however you spell that) to sing and would just weep quietly and swear off of cheese, but before you new it, BANG! off the wagon. Then he died.So now we are a 5 piece again! |
