Artist History ONE EYE is a name synonymous with a good time. In their native Salt Lake City, they have been creating memories in the local scene for years. Coming together in '92, their musical style has been defined, and refined, over time, creating a movement in the scene, going back to the psychedelic roots of rock and roll, and staying true to themselves and their fans. Their style has been influenced by their favorites, musicans of old and new styles, based on jazz-inspired drum treatments, a hypnotic bass backbone, psychedelic, mood altering guitar hooks, and vocals that defy explanation. Their style refuses to be pigeonholed into a category, rather, flies in the face of convention, using several influences to hybridize a sound all their own. ONE EYE appeals to all sorts of fans, bikers to dead-heads, teen agers to college aged, and one things for sure,, there is always a party atmosphere. ONE EYE's fans are increasingly loyal, and pack whatever venue they play. Whether it be a hole in the wall beer bar to a hundred fans, or a screaming throng of 9000 plus supporters at KXRK X96's 4-play concert, ONE EYE loves to play. The boys are in the studio, as we speak, recording the followup to their debut C.D. Bad Dream, and will be touring at the rise of the new year...keep an EYE out for ONE EYE

Press Reviews Salt Lake UnderGround(SLUG) REVIEW: by Jon Shuman: Essentially, ONE EYE is a band you don't have to be embarrassed to admit you like. They combine elements of funk, jazz and metal to create an oleo of great guitar rock which is instantly identifiable, without being too derivative. Over the past years, they have developed a sizable following, due in large to the party like atmosphere which surrounds their shows. The general mayem and joviality which surrounds their gigs belie themes of regret and loss which permeate the lyrics of the songs on their debut C.D. "Bad Dream". H, one of the best frontmen in town, is the lead instigator of the dancing, yelling and drinking - crowd response ONE EYE thrives on. It's obvious the songwriting for ONE EYE is a collaborative process, with each member adding his own contribution and input, to create a holistic sound. Whether these guys are playing a live show in your town,, or just providing the soundtrack to wherever the best party in town happens to be that night, ONE EYE is a band not to miss.
