Artist description
A somewhat prolific artist, Melissah has only recently discovered her passion for songwritting. In the past two short years she has written over 75 songs. Currently, the only music that has been "recorded" was performed in a small one room apartment using a cheap midi card, Microsoftİ Volume control (as the mixer), Microsoftİ Sound Recorder (as the recording device), and a tiny computer microphone the size of a pencil. When asked about the means by which she has recorded these tracks Melissah stated, "Well, it's a bit frustrating! I imagine these great songs. I wake up hearing or feeling something and race to the computer to capture it, but never manage to do the ideas justice. Alot of that frustration will be overcome as my skill improves though; and as the song 'If Only' states, I'm not going to let a little lack of equipment keep me from turning my dreams into reality!" Sometime this summer she will finally be working in a studio to record her first album. (Note: All artwork for the songs is also original.) |
