Artist History Matt Rocker, yes that's his real name, is the principle songwriter, singer, and guitarist. He's been playing music since childhood, being the son of two pop musicians. Along the way he worked as a songwriter for a singing telegram service, played live as a drummer, bassist, singer, guitarist, and mandolinist, and got a degree in classical music composition. He hooked up with his present band while in school at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
