Press Reviews Leffe Blond, was formed in 1994 and based in Sweden.  When I first heard them, I thought I was hearing  some band  from U.S/ seattle. They got this very distinctive sound that  make Grunge such a huge success. No top notch sound productions  What you will be listening is pure honest sound, how they sound is live is what  you will be hearing in thie demo, 'Old Loosers'.  And it is this type of raw sound which  made Nirvana / Mudhoney such a success during  the grunge explosion. Though many thought that now grunge is dead.Though Nu meta(korn/slipknots/Limp Bizikts) is gaining massive appeal now(and lots of new band is jumping the bandwagon), Leffe Blond thinks otherwise. They understand what make a song that can last is its honesty in its sound and lyrics. And this is what Leffe Blond had given us in their 6 track demo, OLD LOOSER.  Suck Me Sideway, is my personal favourite. It really remind me of Kurt Cobain.  'Suck me Side Way..Kill Me..' A very grunge moody sounds which is sure goona be this band  biggest hits.  Sucide, is my second fave, but don't expect it to receive any radio air play. It is not a radio friendly  songs. But one particular song that really stand out is Kicking, I must say it had a very good arrangementand very tight in its sound. It started very heavy (which I bet will get the crowd body surfing), then it drop and get mellow which sound very like Mudhoney.   Mr Stoner taking a lo-fi approach and Swamp Head, opens with a down tuned bass and kick  in with a very Ailce In Chains sounding vocal.   People may say that Leffe Blond got too many bands shadows in their songs. But as a new band  I find it more encouraging when people describe your sound like another band. At least  you are heading to the right directions. If your paly grunge be proud of it!!!!  And this is what Leffe Blond is trying to show. Kurt maybe dead, Grunge maybe dead  but the attitude never dies.  -Bret
