Artist History Ghetalion, a combination of "Ghetto" and "Battalion", has been making beats as early as 1997. Even though he wrote rap songs, he wouldn't perform his first vocal track until late 1998. The process he discovered how to make beats is about as unique as the beats themselves. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on equipment that can do a limited amount of functions, he discovered programs on the computer that could allow him to create the music he needed to express. In the summer of 1998, he culminated his computer-musical creation skills and constructed his first mix tape. In the fall of 1998, he created "The B1nary Undergr0und." This site offers original beats Ghetalion made, availible for all willing to download them. The fall of 1999 gave birth to Ghetlaion's first CD release, named after his webpage. The CD contained some of the beats you'll still find on the website. In the later-half of 1999 and in the beginning of 2000, Ghetalion assisted with fellow artist Skogglez to make Skogglez' debut CD album, "Fatal Mathematix". Now, as the midway point of 2000 is coming around, Ghetalion has been mixing and producing tracks from such artists as Morphius, Lenny, J.Swaz, Tony Atlas, Dro, E.T., and Jon-G. Some time down the road, Ghetlaion's debut album, "Unsigned" will be released.
