Artist description
It was a crisp, beautiful Manhattan evening, when I first heard Darryl Keith and his band play at a New York City singer song-writer showcase, one and a half years ago. As Darryl took the stage, the crowd became focused on his genuine presence and electrifying performance. At that moment, I knew I had been struck by a special talent, with incredible appeal, and a sound that touched my inner soul, as well as those around me. Darryl was invited back to perform the next two weeks, which generated interest within the musical community and the recording industry. His blend of country, folk, and pop, which he laughingly calls “Phil-Billy” music appeals to a wide range of audiences. From the simplicity of small-town USA, to the hustle of the big city, people are drawn to Darryl Keith’s music, because it speaks with emotion to the human heart.Michele Karlin, Ingamut Publishing |
