Artist History Brer Brian was a mulatto minister who believed that music was the way. He was run out of Port Crane, NY (the center of his ministry) and was forced to wander the midwest, living the life of a heartbroken bluesman until the day he died of alcohol. His legacy lives on in the families of the original congregation. Recently, in the talent of the Damnfine Artists, Brer Brian's messages through music have resurfaced, in the devilish fingerpicking and drum machines here at Damn Fine Records.
