Artist History Boston Retroactive is a compilation containing some of the bands that made the underground Boston music scene such a powerful moving force and influence n the 80's and 90's. One Way Productions is a Boston Independant Label and production company fromed in 1984 to record Boston's underground music in the Punk, Ska, Metal, and Rock catagories. Enigma/Capitol, TAANG!, American Music, OY! Records [Europe/UK], Nasty Vynal [Germany] have all released material either produced by One Way Productions or currently in relase from us. One Way Productions has directly released the following bands and artists on our own label: THE MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES, THE OUTLETS, SHAKE THE FAITH, LEFT NUT, 10 STAR GENERAL, THE SEXTONS, LAST STAND, NATALIE FLANAGAN, and JOHN FELICE OF "THE REAL KIDS". Despite our underground and independant status we have produced: [a] 2 Boston Music Award winning albums: [1] DEVIL'S NIGHT OUT by THE MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES released on TAANG! [and we were also the 1st to record The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and release their music], [2] SHAKE THE FAITH's self-titled album.
