Artist description 1/2BREEDZ reprezents the hip hop culture of the Southwest to the fullest. 1/2BREEDZ consists of CocoaLoco and CharleeBrown. Each of them are of mixed race, which is where the name and concept of "1/2BREEDZ" originates. They talk of what it means to be a person of mixed race, a person with no culture and no race to belong to, while growing up in the gang-infested lands of the Southwest. Their beats are filled with adrenaline flowing rhythms, slowed down to a smoothed-out gangsta beat. The beats are laced with clever and thought-provoking rhymes about their struggles and triumphs. 1/2BREEDZ have created a sound all their own. . . a sound called 1/2BREEDZ.

Artist History CocoaLoco and CharleeBrown grew up together in southwest Colorado, and northewest New Mexico. Early in high school, they started a DJ'ing business, and their musical interests steadily grew from there. When they were both 16, they recorded a demo and sent it to a few companies. The concept and originality of 1/2BREEDZ sparked much interests in many organizations, but due to prior cultural values, no contracts were signed. Now the 1/2BREEDZ are ready and prepared to take the art of hip hop to a new sphere
