Artist description
Walker is a new music project initiated by Stephen Murray and Gerard Griffin after the demise of their former band Rollerskate Skinny in 1997. Stephen M., Gerard Griffin and Ken Griffin formed Rollerskate Skinny in 1991. The band were later joined by James Shields on drums who played on their first album "Shoulder Voices", (Beggars Banquet 1993) but departed soon after its release. Rollerskate Skinny then went on to record their critically acclaimed album "Horsedrawn Wishes" (Warner Bros.) in 1996. After a year of promoting this album, Stephen M and Gerard Griffin decided to pursue other musical interests resulting in the Walker project. To date, Walker has recorded twenty songs. |
