Artist description
We are (actually were) an old school speed/thrash metal band that combined ripping leads over solid, crunchy riffs. We may have been guilty of putting 2 or 3 songs worth of riffs into one occasionally, but we always tried to push the envelope, on stage and off. |

Artist History
Sacrament was formed back in 1991 when metal still roamed the earth. We played many local gigs to moshing fans and beer soaked locals. We also supported touring bands such as Flotsam & Jetsam and Deicide(who originally refused to let us play because of our name. They thought we were a Christian band! Ha! ) Just as we were preparing to take our band to the next level, the grunge invasion began. Other heavy local bands began to merge into this wave of mediocrity as they saw what was being signed. We managed to get one properly recorded song onto a compilation of Santa Barbara bands, the "Unsigned Heroes" CD. This song, Bloodline Conspiracy, is our legacy to the forgotten metalheads of the early 90's. |
