Artist History All three members were highly influenced by the streets, mainly because they are so hard. Fly comes from themean streets of the murder capital of the United States- Savannah Georgia, Freshy comes from the tough pitknown as suburban New Jersey and X-Con hails from the mean streets of Philly PA. They met in Los Angeles,almost killing each other in a gun fight in Hollywood, but soon realizing that together they would be the phattestshit around. Confrontations like that inspired early tracks like "ZZZ" where they spit in the face of such rappers as Puffy andMase and "Phobe Be Dead" which was the result of a long-lasting feud with popular gay rapper Phobe Pouch.Selling these tracks out of the back of their car on the westside of LA brought them the local recognition theyneeded to get signed and begin work on Welcome To The Interzone, which some white people feel is the bestalbum ever made. The content includes inside jokes which the public will never get, lots of rhymes about how theyrule the rap world and a few to many uses for the words muthafucka and rapein.
