Artist History
Vance has been playing music for as long as anyone can remember. You might remember him from Jorge or Froot Loop Soop in Macon. Vance started the Satisfaction Machine project on his own in 1998 in Los Angeles. The name was originally inspired by the sequencer that was his back-up "band." He formed the first human Satisfaction Machine in summer of 1999 with Tai Myamoto on guitar, Jonathan's brother Benjamin Vance on the drums, and Jonathan on six-string bass. Tai and Ben were replaced by Michael Creamer on guitar and Jason Creamer on drums that fall, and Maryn joined in March of 2000. Michael and Jason Creamer left the band in June of 2000 when Benjamin came back along with Justin Joyner, who took over the bass. Today, Jonathan is back at his rightful spot: guitar. |
