Artist description ...a student at Western Washington University who can't fight an itch to make electronic music...pleiadian arranges, performs, and produces all his music in his ever-growing home studio. Recently he has been recording in the Fairhaven Studio at the University.

Music Style esoteric electronica

Artist History In '95, I started banging on pots and pans, and everything that followed was just coincidence.  I began midi sequencing with an Ensoniq EPS-16 and Opcode Musicshop, and I replaced my pots and pans with a drum kit.  In '97, I was turned onto drum'n'bass and other electronic music after hitting a few raves in Seattle.  I dove into beatmaking and sampling with very little grace.  Since then, it has been nothing but trial and error.  Low and behold after a few years of twisting knobs and enduring thousands of Mac Attacks, I have finally reached a level of.....something.....I don't know what, but I am sharing it with the world. My obsession with music and audio recording began early on. I had taken piano lessons and played drums for a few years. My musical environment as I grew up in the Pacific Northwest was a little strange. My family's interest in shamanism brought some wack ass noises and rhythms into the household. In addition, my neo-hippie parents were always introducing me to esoteric music. These experiences, as well as my midi sequencing efforts solidified my fascination with recording. It offers me a means by which to create a tangible finished product of my imagination and inspiration. It also helps me overcome my lifelong handicap, as I was born a two finger virtuouso pianist. From then on, what began as my home studio recording hobby became the most important thing in my life and the source of all my inspiration to learn more.
