Press Reviews
"The truth is, I dare anyone to go out to a Selzers show and say they didn't have a great time. Bopping along with their original songs...it just takes one set to be hooked" -East Coast Rocker"Nice young Jersey boys who play hard driving pop rock and roll a la Weezer. A very promising EP full of enough musical curves to prove they ain't banal or unoriginal. Good." -Yeah, Yeah, Yeah Magazine"The Bus Ride Home E.P. is the Selzers' second self-released EP, a four-song bon bon of catchy power-pop melodies and geeky teen angst, filtered through the irresistible Brady Bunch persona of lead singer Ryan Gentles. In other hands, songs this twee might sound coy or saccharine, but the Selzers manage to pull it off with an impossible-to-resist sincerity." -the Jersey Journal |
