Artist History
The Revelers are a brand new band, originating in the last quarter of 1998. We were all members of bands in the local scene (The Krays/Urban Riot), who would help each other out with shows, lending and sharing equipment at gigs, supporting each other, and generally hang out together at the local haunts when not playing shows or practicing.
One by one we each left our respective bands while remaining good friends. With the loss of a musical outlet and the need to get back on stage, we bounced around the idea of playing together to the point where we all found each other in the studio once more. With renewed vigor the songs and chemistry came together quickly and we found the next logical step was to get a small demo recorded, start distributing it, and return to the stage. |
