Press Reviews
"Winding their way into the Boston local music scene is an enigmatic South Shore band that call themselves The Hodes.
Their original songwriting draws on a wellspring of rock influences that range from Pink Floyd to Rush to The Police to Alice in Chains.
However you attempt to categorize them, The Hodes will surprise you with their wide variety of styles. Guitars sometimes crunchy, sometimes bluesy, with just the right amount of hook...Keyboards with classic tones, texture and pulsating soul...Bass that is alternately driving and hypnotic...Drums that anchor and propel...Vocals that grab with melody and lyrical twist.
Every Hodes gig is a tight, emotional performance that wins new fans and keeps the critics watching..." |
