Favorite song is Kris' Sunday Morning Coming Down. Otherwise it's Bob Dylan and Jack Tannehill & similar acoustic rock artists that he favors.

Similar Artists Someone said that 2-Stepping With A Gorilla is best described as Merle Haggard meets Jimmie Rodgers! Some songs have a traditional sound. One even sounds a bit like Kenny Rogers.

Artist History Steve Sevek does not sing or play an instrument on any of the tracks.Originally writing only lyrics and after failing to find a collaborator to write the music, Steve began making up melodies to his own songs. This was done by finding a beat that went with the lyrics.After coming up with a melody, he would then sing the song (without music) onto a cassette and send the cassette to Holston Valley Music. HVM would produce the music to go with Steve's melody, thereby Steve remains the copyright holder of both words and music.
