Artist History
Sift originally started out as Speeny Bowl Wagon in '93 where Todd and Curt met. Justin joined and played with them for about a year before leaving the band. T + C pushed forward and after 90 tryouts reformed with Deep Chinappa and Robb Papagno to for Wither. The name Wither was taken, so in late '96 the band changed it's name to Sift. After many gigs and almost a year writing songs, the band decided to go into the studio to cut a full-length cd. Halfway through Robb tired of the creative constraints of the studio and quit the band. Justin came in to finish Robb's tracks, and after a few live shows in early '98 decided to join. |
