Studiocrash contains the twin Ciciotte brothers Gino Ciciotte (singer, guitarist), Dino Ciciotte (bassist) with Michael Capparelli (Lead Guitar) and Drummer Marco Villegas. Michael Capparelli punches so much power into Studiocrash songs; you might just feel a great guitarist is in the midst of a major breakthrough. The members from Studiocrash grew up in the oh so clever Orange County, CA scene, home of No Doubt, Sugar Ray, STP and 80s punk. Studiocrash culls its energy and sound from myriad of influences taking a no u-turn to look back. “ I grew up listening to the classics,” states Lead guitarist Michael Capparelli “ that is something I am trying to re-capture, the simplicity of that rock sound that I can put a memorable hook on. “ . Back in 1997, Studiocrash consisted only of lead singer Gino Ciciotte and guitar player Michael Capparelli. Although the acoustic duet was wildly popular on the coffee house circuit, they were determined to take it further. Once brother Dino Ciciotte joined in on bass, they knew they had the makings of a great rock band, and the final piece of the puzzle was completed by the addition of longtime friend Marco Villegas on drums. “ When I joined my old friends, I immediately knew this is where I am supposed to be. “ comments Villegas, ” we were all high school friends, so now its just like an extended family. We really understand each other and that’s what makes Studiocrash sound so personal.” Studiocrash is characterized by their sheer will and determination, as well as their extraordinary talent.
