Artist History Blind is an unsigned New York based band that had formed back in 1992 and took several member changes before acquiring the sound and atmosphere they were striving for. Blind consists of: Larry Kelly- Drums, Percussion Eddie Brochardt- Lead & rhythm guitar Preston King- Bass, Vocals Bryan Clay- Lead vocals, Acoustic guitars This band steals the show with high-energy performances accompanied with a great live sound that captivates any crowd. Some of the best performances they delivered were for the WRCN Summer Concert Series at Canoe Place Inn on eastern Long Island. Blind has opened for such bands as Blue Oyster Cult 1996, Great White 1997 and Sebastian Bach of Skid Row 1998. There, some fifty-nine hundred people watched them perform and responded with great reception. The band does not write in any one style as to accommodate each member’s musical influences. Their style contains hints of alternative, hard rock, progressive, into the realm of metal. With a vast pallet of songs it seems Blind can appeal to just about anyone. Blind had released their debut album “MIRAGE”. The CD had been played on a Long Island radio station WBAB 95.3 several times that month the feedback was great. SEPTEMBER 1999: Blind reached the number 12 spot on Mp3.com in the "Alternative General" genre with "Save Me". FEBRUARY 2000: Blind was shocked to find their stats on mp3.com were rising drastically. Beginning on the 7th their "page views" had jumped from 14 to 138, and peaking at 2168. An email from a fan informed them that the band had been a featured artist on Kiss Radio, San Antonio, TX (http://www.kissrocks.com) 99.5. "Valentine" started to rise in popularity jumping from #256 to #1 in multiple genres. "Valentine" had been voted "Most Wanted MP3" on Mp3radio.com in many states and categories. “Valentine” also reached #1 as the “Top National Downloaded MP3”.
