Artist History struggling through the oppressive, small hours of unwelcomed consciousness, repression gives birth to inspiration. the infant quietly unlocks the combination. Cynicism and Trepidation, so long imprisoned within convoluted walls, revel in emancipation and anxiously await the impending onslaught. magnetic tape to immortalize the fleeting glimpses into the darkened cerebral aether. words coagulate and collide, disintegrate and sift, settling as sedimentary thought. time... pressure... stone. all the fears of passing years converge on this single moment as lunacy lights on the sloping shoulders of rational perspective. violence flashes on Memory's screen as resurrected images stare through wild optical intrusions. once more the veil is lifted and all the pain comes crashing down. Catharsis cries "cacophony juxtaposed with euphony!" minimalistic saturation rides the maelstromic vortex as the sinusoidal hands weave their magic, enveloping the microcosmic module in a shround of sedated bliss. the repercussions and reverberations will go on forever...

Possessing an honesty to his voice that is rarely heard in this style of music, Michael is known for his oblique lyrics and layered vocals. After self-releasing a full length demo and two albums, Xiphoid Process has refined and redefined its sound and is slowly moving away from its experimental roots.
