Artist description
DJ Soop: What usually happens is Dave comes up with a little dittle (They're usually not ditty quality) and then I salvage them by completely remixing. DJ Handsome: I'm 5'11, medium build with sandy blond hair and grey eyes, I like long walks and snowboarding. I also like to make house/trance stuff. Apparently, I have no concept of drums. I usually stick some thingies in and think It's real clever, and then KEVIN, tells me it sucks. then he changes it. |

Artist History
DJ Soop: I've been fiddling around with stuff like this for several years now but recenly got focused and well here's the album. At first, it was just me making songs. "Blue (My Favourite Colour)" was the first song I made. I made it with help from Geoff and Graham played piano. After "Blue" came songs like "Goodly Fair" and "Bits" mainly by me. Later, DJ Handsome and I started trying out some stuff together like "Pumpkin House" and "Soop A Bowl". Now were done and "Cuppah Soop", our album, is complete. DJ Handsome: I played bass recorder in school for a while, and then I moved on to house. After I heard "Blue" i thought "hey, neat" so I started making my own stuff, but it was mostly wannabe house which sounded like folk music. It wasn't until after I listened to some demo trance song that I kinda figured out what I was doing wrong. I still don't really know what I'm doing: for some songs I just press a lot of buttons and see what it sounds like and if I like it I try to make it better, like with drums n' stuff. |
