Artist History Simon Gordeev aka s i m o n was born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1977. He started to write songs in early 90's, mainly influenced by the legendary russian band "Kino". In 1993 he moved to Munich, Germany. There, after some experiments with a Yamaha 4-track recorder, an echo device and a keyboard, a home made album called "Chuma" ("The Plaque") was born, wich was a pretty success in the underground scene of Kiev. A short player "Punk" has followed in 1996. From 1996 till 1998 s i m o n played guitar and wrote english songs for "the lost islands", a band he founded together with three old friends of him. After the split of "the islands" in 1998, he continued to write songs in his native language - russian.
